Captiva Retreat (47 Sunset Captiva) is a 2,200 Sq.Ft. detached free-standing home with 2 private bedrooms (queen, twins), private den with sleeper sofa, loft with single bed, and three full bathrooms. It comfortably accommodates 7 guests. If you can't get by without checking your e-mail, we have Hi Speed Internet access with WiFi. With floor-to-ceiling windows and sliders on three sides, the Living room and Dining area are light and airy, perfect for a tropical vacation. The ceiling fans and high-output air conditioning keep it comfortable, plus there's a wood-burning fireplace for the occasional cool evening. Stretch out on the L-shaped sofas with a good book, or watch cable TV or DVD/VCR. Serve meals to a party of 8 at the dining table.

The fantastic wrap-around Screened Porch is the signature feature of this home. You'll spend a lot of time out here, relaxing on comfortable sofas and chairs, or sitting at the large table where you'll probably serve a lot of your meals. The natural breezes flow freely from two sides, but if they take a day off, there are three ceiling fans. We don't allow smoking in the house, but you're free to indulge yourself here on the porch. Complimentary beach chairs and kids' beach toys are in the cabinet in the corner. Beach towels are in the linen closet.

Although there are 12 restaurants within walking distance, you'll want to do some cooking in our newly-renovated Kitchen. We re-did the counters and cabinets and replaced most of the appliances, so you'll find absolutely everything you'll need, from cookware and utensils to dishes, glassware and tableware. Adjacent to the kitchen is a utility room with new washer and dryer, ironing board and iron.

Changeover cleaning, inspection and 24/7 on-call maintenance are provided by a nationally-respected professional management company. These are beach homes. The furniture is a couple of years old, some of the dishes don't match, and there will be no chocolates on your pillow. If you're looking for the Ritz-Carlton, try their web site. Otherwise read on. With access from the kitchen and the porch, during the day the Den is another living area and cable TV/DVD/VCR room. Maybe the kids can watch their videos in here while the adults hang out in the living room or on the porch. In the evening, if you need the third bedroom, close the sliders and the blinds and open up the double sleeper sofa. Although not adjacent, there's a full bathroom nearby. We have several community barbecue grills for your use. There are 8 restaurants nearby.
