The area's natural beauty has been safeguarded, providing a natural haven for a stunning array of animals unique to this area, from dolphin, manatee, ospreys, pelicans and eagles to shrimp, snook and redfish.

Stroll the beach for great shell collecting and fossilized shark teeth. Fishermen can enjoy surf fishing from the beach or boating from Lemon Bay. Water sports of all kinds are 5 minutes away. The area also has plenty of shopping, golf and is within easy driving distance of many of Florida's most popular cities and attractions.
