Three Palms is an extremely comfortable, newly renovated (2005) 3 bedroom beach house that retains the charm and feel of old Florida. Because it is at ground level, you literally step out on to the pure white sands, which extend 120 feet to the water’s edge. South facing, Three Palms gets both sunrise and sunset over the ocean for much of the year, and, to help you enjoy those spectacles, there is a private boardwalk through the dunes to an elevated deck on the beach. The house has a unique outside access second story with two bedrooms and bath leading to another deck overlooking the beautiful Gulf.

All bedrooms, including the master bedroom on the main level, have windows facing the beach and can be opened at night to let in the gulf breeze and the sounds of the surf. The main level has a screened-in porch facing the gulf and yet is afforded privacy by a grouping of low dune oaks set between the porch and the beach.

One of the best-kept secrets in all of Florida, Alligator Point has around ten miles of pristine, beautiful, uncrowded beach with virtually no day-tripping tourists, no condos, no high-rises, and no hotels. If swimming, fishing, or beachcombing are what you need, then we have it aplenty. The waters just adjacent to the house are well known for attracting huge schools of fish and shrimp. And those fish attract schools of dolphins to within five feet of the beach as well as thousands of shore birds, especially pelicans, which put on a show diving into the water headfirst for their catch. With a cast net or a rod and reel, you can easily catch your own dinner to grill on our barbeque. So pristine are our beaches, every year sea turtles nest on our shores, and we protect them ferociously, marking their nests and prohibiting bright lights on the shores.

Within easy reach are great seafood restaurants, two great golf courses, and natural interests at state parks, wildlife reserves, and a national forest. Bald Point State Park is just a mile down the road from Three Palms, and Wakulla Springs State Park, which features glass-bottomed boats touring ultra-clear spring waters, is just about five miles away. If fishing is your passion, then you will have come to the right place, either with your own boat or one of the many charters available for deep sea, coastal, or river fishing at its best. Among the local catch are grouper, redfish, tarpon, flounder, mullet, and amberjack. If you need a soul-restoring and stress-reducing experience, and want to feel good with the world again, come to Three Palms – you’ll never want to leave. Advance reservation deposit $300 due with signed application. Deposit reverts to security deposit at move-in. Note that parties/gatherings of more than eight (8) adults are strictly prohibited - violation will result in forfeiture of deposit. No renters under 25. Full payment of appropriate rent due two weeks before move-in. Checks, money orders, or cash only. 30-day cancellation notice required. Sales tax of 9%. Rentals are Saturday to Saturday, check-in after 4 pm, check-out before 11am. Linens and towels are furnished. Free local and incoming calls.
