Our new (2006) cottage, "Gone to the Beach" is designed to allow you to relax and refresh. Located in exclusive Santa Rosa Beach - close to Seaside, Grayton Beach and Watercolors, this 4 bedroom, 3 bath home has an extra "Tower room" on the third floor. Enjoy the luxury of the beach cottage located in the brand new development of Old Florida Village - right near Gulf Place. Our cottage is a quick stroll away from Florida's Emerald Coast - one of the world's most beautiful beaches. The cottage is located in the center island of the development - just steps away from one of the two pools (children do not have to go into the street to get to the pool).

Resturants are within walking distance as are stores for shopping. In addition, Silver Sands Factory Outlet Center is just ten minutes to the west in SanDestin. Goatfeathers Seafood Market is right outside the village entrance for those that appreciate good seafood. Also a few miles away is Destin Commons, a brand new shopping and entertaining center with shops, restaurants and a Rave Movie Theater. Old Florida is made up of 75 distinctive, architecturally rich homes. The village has two community pools. The streets are made of pavers, special pavement and stone. The natural Santa Rosa beauty was left throughout plus some great landscaping. Green space is found throughout the community.

There is only one road into the village which creates a nice private and secure feeling. Take a stroll or bike ride around. Convenient bike rentals are available in the area. The house is tastefully decorated with rich and relaxing furniture. A gas BBQ is provided for your family cookouts. The bedrooms are all furnished as follows: king in master, two queens in two other bedrooms and two twins in the 4th bedroom. The tower room is furnished with a couch, two chairs and ottoman and an entertainment center - great for relaxing at the end of the day or watching the sunsets. (** One bedroom with a queen bed is on the first floor - great for older family members).

Two porches will give you time to sit outside and relax while reading a book or talking to friends. Scenic HW 30-A is a spectacular 18 mile journey of beaches, sidewalks, restaurants, fishing, kayaking, biking and shopping. Beach set-ups are available for beach seating. There is a clean rest room located at the beach. We are within walking distance of Gulf Place with great shops, outdoor dining at Smiling Fish, Capos, Sunday night concerts on the green and ice cream at Miss Lucille's Gossip Parlor. Santa Rosa Beach Golf and Beach Club is also nearby for exciting golf challenges and gulf dining.

A $350 Deposit is due within 7 days to Reserve the date. $120 Cleaning fee and $250 Security Deposit applied to all rentals. $50 cancelation fee on all rentals, $450 Cancelation fee if within 30 days of rental date. Weekly rental in Summer are Sat - Sat. Daily rentals are available at other time - email or call for rates. Three night minimum during holidays. MUst BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS of AGE to RENT THIS COTTAGE. ALL rates subject to applicabel 11% state lodging tax.
