This is a non-gated, secured development which is located on the Intracoastal Waterway at the intersections of Blackburn Point Road (going over to Casey Key) and Route 41/Tamiami Trail; in the town of Osprey. Osprey is a town of 4,100 residents and is on the southern border of Sarasota; the downtown area of Sarasota is 15 minutes due North. Siesta Key Beach complex is 15 minutes North with flour sand beaches. Casey Key Beach is 10 minutes South; Casey Key can be seen from the Southbay Clubhouse patio and pool area.
