St Teresa Beach, Florida vacation rental

St. Teresa Beach is located off Highway 98. When you turn on the beach road, you will enter a community of privately owned homes, not visible from the highway. Covered parking is available when you arrive. This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, duplex home with a large Living area and plenty of workable counter space in the kitchen. In the corner of each bedroom, outside the bathroom, is a lavatory and mirror. There is an enclosed outside shower after a day of enjoying the beach. If you have a baby, there is a crib and changing table in the corner of the guest bedroom. There are fans and TVs in every room. It is well furnished for both relaxing or entertaining. With two dining tables and the kitchen bar, you could easily have dinner for ten. It is 1650 sq. ft., heated and cooled area, with front and back screened porches. The large, screened, front porch is perfect for breakfast at sunrise or a sunset dinner, or just enjoying the ocean view with a good book. If there is not a breeze, the fans on the porch will compensate.

Alligator Point can be seen across the water and Dog Island is accessible by boat. St. Teresa Beach is approximately 3 miles long and we are located close to the middle with 1 1/2 miles of wide, beautiful white beach both east and west of us. The beach is approximately 100 feet from the front steps of the home. The beach is perfect for walking and when the tide is low and the sandbars are out, it is especially good for children to play or explore some of the small sea life. Fishing in front of the house is an option, if you do not have a boat. If you have a boat, it can be anchored in front of the house. There are no sudden deep areas and no undertow, again perfect for children.

You can enjoy a bounty of delicious fresh, local seafood in a restaurant or take home to prepare yourself. Some of the local restaurants will cook the seafood you catch for a reasonable price. St. James Bay Golf and Country Club is located four miles from our home. There are good restaurants within 15 minutes. Visit nearby Carrabelle, Apalachicola, and St. George Island, all less than 30 miles and all located on the water. These places have historic homes, quaint shops and great restaurants. We own a bait and tackle store, Lanark Village Mart, with a boat landing, gas, live bait, groceries and a great deli located in Lanark Village nine miles away. There are other grocery stores located about 15 minutes away. If you get tired of the wonderful peace and quiet, you can always visit Tallahassee, The Capitol of Florida and the home of the Florida State Seminoles for a little more action. Tallahassee is one hour away. The perfect "get away" is within your reach.........you too, will fall in love with St. Teresa Beach.
