Upper Captiva Island is located on the Southwest coast of Florida. The island is situated among the barrier islands of Sanibel, Captiva, Cayo Costa State Park, and Boca Grande, known for the world's best tarpon fishing. Upper Captiva is 4 miles long by 1/2 mile wide of which 2/3 of the island is a state park/bird sanctuary providing great shelling, bird watching, and walks along the beach. Enjoy watching the dolphins play in the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Manatees, gopher turtles, otters, and numerous species of exotic birds, including osprey, make Upper Captiva their home. This barrier island has unparallel charm with its fascinating wildlife, spectacular sunsets and pristine gulf beaches blanketed with colorful shells.

You will find no cars or fast food restaurants. Transportation is by foot, golf cart, or bicycle. Upper Captiva truly offers a secluded refuge from today's hectic world. Mimosa Breeze is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath Gulf view beach house with a mezzanine and crow's nest overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Each bedroom has it's own bath beautifully decorated in island charm. The beach house has wood floors throughout, large kitchen and great room combination tastefully decorated in island colors and decor. The great room has leather furniture and sports a 42 inch plasma satellite TV along with stereo, DVD and C/D player.

The kitchen has new appliances and Italian tile counter tops and island bar for preparing and enjoying your gourmet meals. There is also a gas grill on the ground level next to the open air outdoor shower. All linens, local telephone calls, Internet hook up and a 4 person golf cart are included for your pleasure. A large screened porch which completely opens to the great room and kitchen overlooks Gumbo Limbo, Coconut Palms, and Seagrape trees giving the feeling of being tucked in the woods. Only 100 steps to the soft warm sand of the Gulf of Mexico you will enjoy shelling, swimming, fishing, and viewing breathtaking sunsets.

A deposit in the amount of $500 is required to initally reserve your rental

it serves as a refundable security deposit This deposit will be refunded

2 weeks after departure assuming there are no damages to the property

and/or its contents and golf cart. The full rental rate is due 30 days

prior to arrival in the form of money order or check in USD. Cancelations

must be made at least 60 days in advance or the deposit will be forfited
